Traditionally roulette has been played in regular offline casinos. The American roulette is divided in to 38 slots,
numbered 1 through 36, plus 0 and 00. If you are playing at a roulette table with a 5 dollar minimum, you are required to place 5 dollars on each of your outside bets, and-or a total of at least 5 dollars on your inside bets. The sections are numbered from 1 to 36, (half red and half black, half odd and half even) plus a green section marked 0. Each roulette player is assigned different color of chip,
allowing the dealer differentiate bets and match them to the right players. The game of roulette starts after the players have made most of their bets by placing them on the numbered layout. Once the bets have been placed on the roulette table, the wheel starts spinning and a small ball is released on to the wheel in the opposite direction of the spinning wheel. When the roulette ball comes to rest in one of the slots, the dealer will call out
the winning number and settle all bets. The roulette ball falls into one of the wheel's numbered compartments which determines the winning number. Losing roulette bets are collected and winning bets are paid. After all payoffs have been made, the Dealer will announce "Place your bets.
When you finish beating the house at roulette, you will have to ask the dealer to "color out" for you, the dealer will then take your chips and give you casino checks which you may then use on other games or cash out at the cashier.
