The Roulette wheel that is mounted horizontally on the end of the table. The wheel is divided into 38 (American) or 37 (European) sections, each of which has walls to hold a small ball where it lands after the wheel is spun. If you play black-red, odd/even or high-low,
you must place the roulette table minimum for each and every bet. The zero and
double zero numbers are in green and on opposite sides of the wheel, the colors
and odd/even numbers alternate, and the numbers themselves are randomly
distributed. The roulette chips are worthless at the other tables in the same casino, so do not
bother trying to stack them under your blackjack chips or anything foolish like that. Once the bets have been placed on the roulette table, the wheel starts spinning and a small ball is released on to the wheel in the opposite direction of the spinning wheel. The ball slows and eventually stops in one of the numbered pockets in the Roulette
wheel. The winning roulette number is marked by the Dealer. Roulette does not move at a quick pace, it is for a more relaxed crowd than you are likely to find at the
craps table. If you’re feeling lucky, you can pack in plenty of casino play at a roulette wheel in a short time. You should remember to exchange the colored non-value Roulette chips for valued gaming chips prior to leaving a particular Roulette table.
When you finish beating the house at roulette, you will have to ask the dealer to "color out" for you, the dealer will then take your chips and give you casino checks which you may then use on other games or cash out at the cashier.
