» Roulette Roulette is of French origin and was first played in New Orleans.
In roulette game the bank pays or collects from each bettor. The wheel has numbered pockets ranging from 0 to 36 - and 00 in American Style Roulette. If you play black-red, odd/even or high-low,
you must place the roulette table minimum for each and every bet. The zero and
double zero numbers are in green and on opposite sides of the wheel, the colors
and odd/even numbers alternate, and the numbers themselves are randomly
distributed. All roulette players place their bets. The roulette dealer will exchange your chips for regular chips when you
are done playing. When the roulette ball comes to rest in one of the slots, the dealer will call out
the winning number and settle all bets. When you get your roulette chips they will not be marked with a denomination, you choose it, and all of the chips will reflect that worth - the dealer keeps track
of that by associating the amount and color with a 'lammer'. Roulette does not move at a quick pace, it is for a more relaxed crowd than you are likely to find at the
craps table.
When you finish beating the house at roulette, you will have to ask the dealer to "color out" for you, the dealer will then take your chips and give you casino checks which you may then use on other games or cash out at the cashier.
