Roulette is a glamorous and exciting game that's easy to play. American and European roulettes have a wheel that is divided into numerous slots.
In roulette game the bank pays or collects from each bettor. A European roulette wheel has
the numbers 1-36, plus a slot for zero. On both
wheels, you may think that there is no rhyme or reason as to how the numbers are
arranged, but there is; the numbers are arranged this way so that the odds of
landing on high, odd, low or even numbers are evenly distributed. The zero and
double zero numbers are in green and on opposite sides of the wheel, the colors
and odd/even numbers alternate, and the numbers themselves are randomly
distributed. The roulette chips are worthless at the other tables in the same casino, so do not
bother trying to stack them under your blackjack chips or anything foolish like that. If the roulette ball lands in the 0 slot, the game ends and all players receive half their original bets back. Roulette is not as popular in United States casinos as it is in Europe. After the roulette wheel stops the dealer will then mark the winning number on the betting area and the bets are paid accordingly. Once the roulette ball has found its slot, the dealer will call out the winning number and place a marker on that number's spot on the layout. You should remember to exchange the colored non-value Roulette chips for valued gaming chips prior to leaving a particular Roulette table.
When you finish beating the house at roulette, you will have to ask the dealer to "color out" for you, the dealer will then take your chips and give you casino checks which you may then use on other games or cash out at the cashier.
