Roulette is a game of chance and consists of a Roulette wheel and table. After all bets are placed, the croupier spins the wheel in one direction and tosses the small ball in the opposite direction. The American version of roulette has a single zero and a double zero versus the French
version with just a single zero. The wheel has numbered pockets ranging from 0 to 36 - and 00 in American Style Roulette. If you play black-red, odd/even or high-low,
you must place the roulette table minimum for each and every bet. Each Player has a different colored set of non-value Roulette chips, determined by his/her purchase. The game of roulette starts after the players have made most of their bets by placing them on the numbered layout. If the roulette ball lands in the 0 slot, the game ends and all players receive half their original bets back. If the dreaded 00 is spun, the House keeps all the bets. The winning roulette number is marked by the Dealer. After the roulette wheel stops the dealer will then mark the winning number on the betting area and the bets are paid accordingly. You should remember to exchange the colored non-value Roulette chips for valued gaming chips prior to leaving a particular Roulette table.
When you finish beating the house at roulette, you will have to ask the dealer to "color out" for you, the dealer will then take your chips and give you casino checks which you may then use on other games or cash out at the cashier.
